These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the supply of recruitment services by Metro Structures Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to clients and candidates ("you"). By engaging our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. This is placeholder content — replace it with terms drafted or reviewed by your legal advisor.
"Candidate" means any person introduced by us for an engagement. "Client" means any person or business to whom we supply workers. "Engagement" means the employment, hire or use of a Candidate on a temporary, contract or permanent basis.
We operate as a temporary work agency and employment agency supplying construction workers to clients across the United Kingdom. We take reasonable steps to confirm the identity, qualifications and right to work of each Candidate, but the Client remains responsible for satisfying itself as to a Candidate's suitability for a given role.
Charges are calculated on the basis agreed in writing prior to the commencement of an assignment. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at the statutory rate.
Temporary workers supplied by us are engaged under contracts for services. Timesheets must be verified and authorised by the Client. Rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay and statutory contributions unless expressly stated otherwise.
Where a Client engages a Candidate on a permanent basis, or transfers a temporary worker to permanent employment, an introduction or transfer fee may apply as set out in our schedule of charges.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from the acts or omissions of any Candidate once an Engagement has commenced. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By providing personal information you consent to its use for the purposes of providing our recruitment services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Questions about these Terms can be directed to info@metrostructures.co.uk or by post to Flat 208, 4 Marley Street, Wembley, HA9 0EH.
